Vignavella, a white wine with a unique imprint, the result of the skilful fusion of two expressions of the same selection of vine grown in two distinct areas of the property.
GRAPES: A particular company selection called V10, propagated starting from an ancient biotype of Catarratto
SOIL TYPE: Vella, plateau with a high clayey component, strongly calcareous. Munti, lower slope with a slight slope, very organic and rather deep soil
TRAINING SYSTEM: Guyot
HARVEST TIME: September
COLLECTION METHOD: Manually in 14 kg boxes
VINIFICATION: The grapes are crushed and destemmed followed by cold maceration for about 24h and soft pressing with closed lung pneumatic presses and subsequent fermentation at a controlled temperature
MATURATION: The maturation in steel can have a variable duration, from six months to a year. Final refinement in the bottle for about 3 months
ALCOHOL: 13.5% vol
SENSORY NOTES: Intense straw yellow colour. The nose explodes in yellow tropical notes in which yellow peaches, ripe pineapple and mango stand out. In the mouth it is rich, structured, full and warm. A wine of great power that stands out for its particular persistence.
